A week or so ago, a newly found asteroid, 2023 BL1, made the news as it skipped through the inner solar system coming very close to Earth. It posed no real threat - no end of the world clear and present danger. The asteroid, about the size of a hundred Oscar trophies held together, most likely would have broken up if it crossed into our atmosphere. That would have been some sort of stellar display somewhere in the world. Some news posts even dared note the asteroid didn’t even deserve a look up.
How dare they!? Our celestial canopy always deserves a look. Truth be told, several planets require extra and expedited attention as they prepare to change signs. Saturn dives into Pisces on 7 March. Pluto splashes into Aquarius on 23 March, the same day Ceres retrogrades back into Virgo. Come 25 March, Mars merges onto to off ramp from the two-lane road of Gemini where he has been for a multitude of “Are we there yet?” queries, and turns onto the cozy cul-de-sac of Cancer Circle.
Sure a couple these are temporary transits given that Ceres returns to Libra and Pluto rejoins the longitudinal ranks of Capricorn both in June. Pluto gives Capricorn his final visit in September of 2024 in this current solar revolution. Still, vigilant prep work serves aspirations and causes.
As planets prepare for a change of signs, they transit through what is termed the critical 29th degree of a sign. I do not know where the assessment originated that the 29th degree is critical. Logically, a check list needs review and ticking of tasks requiring completion before the transit through a sign is done makes a heap of sense. Then, entry into the sequential sign can occur with wide-eyed optimism and the enthusiasm of ample energy drinks on board.
The first of these more notable sign changes - Saturn in Pisces - occurs in slightly more than a month; the others follow suit within weeks. Let’s consider agendas and tasks that deserve to be on the planet change check list (based upon order of occurrence).
Before Saturn Enters Pisces
Shed the need to ride upon your history. Whatever you were in a past life, that was then. What you consciously create now is the current important priority. Realize that difficult times in your past is not worth a merit badge. Simply, extract the wisdom of any stressful event, so that choices made now are not made to reclaim pain.
Sit with yourself to confirm you have dealt with every reaction your soul wants you to experience based upon the last couple of years to confirm it has been fully experienced. Make sure no emotions were short-changed or shunned because of the demands of the real world.
Reset your humanity. Be concerned about the plight of others. Be concerned about the planet. Commit to every cause where you can expend a thorough increment of time making things better. When asked or consulted, share the best of your wisdom.
Define your expertise in every realm in which you display skill or talent.
Assess the wisdom you have culled from life.
Avoid delaying any necessary action because of circumstance. Engage life in a fully attentive and timely manner. Realize that others seeking your attention value the interaction you can offer.
More specifically and in fussy saturnine tone: Ghost no one. Answer your damn e-mail within a day or two (maximum). Confirm that all input sent your way has been received in good order. Declare your intention to engage (or not). Be a communicative, conscious, contributing member of humankind. And remember, snowflakes melt in the heat of engaging life.
Before Ceres Returns to Virgo
Get cool with everyone you’ve been working to engage in any kind of relationship, personal, business, creative collaboration or what have you. Check your psyche for flexibility to incoming requests. Reframe reactions to be aligned with the best possible outcome for all parties.
Check your stance in life. Review opinions for resiliency. Make sure the ground you stand upon is in fact the moral high ground.
Disengage from any instinctively combative mode. Do nothing in a moment of reaction. Ensure that any ire raised has a chance to flare, then seek the source of the flame that kindles inspired action that will remain.
Consider that any tasks in which you have chosen to partner up, may have applications besides the mutual benefit of the principals involved. Figure out life’s fanout.
Before Pluto Enters Aquarius
Power and greed check. Ensure that a healthy sense of materialism underscores all your motivations. Seek an economic Goldilocks Zone: one of adequate money, not too little, not too much.
Check to ensure your life mission does not leave residue or toxicity behind. With anything you do, verify there is no possible contamination or disadvantage for any other person who may encounter your quest. Make sure the planet does not receive unnecessary waste from your efforts.
If you can donate time, energy or resources, do so. Should you be in dire need of time, energy resource or assistance, humbly reach out to receive same without perceiving any element of yourself being deficient, needy or undeserving.
Determine how big a splash you want to make in the real world. Assess what you need to achieve the hugest splash, and conduct an overt campaign to seek required assistance and resource.
Think globally and form a clear concept that your every deed (and thought and word, too) contributes to the collective condition of society and the planet.
How big can you go with your life work and protect your need for personal privacy?
Before Mars Enters Cancer
Does ever action you engage exhilarate your psyche and elevate your mood?
Do you spend ample time feeling the events and interactions your life path provides?
Check your emotional oil to ensure it is clear. Check your ego to confirm you feel fortified and perceive support and nurturing from those in your clan.
Are you great about being the first to aid and abet those in your family and tribe to ensure their success and shore up their confidence?
Are you mentally equipped to take time out from the thoughts required to cope with life, to permit all reactions to find a way into your being for sanctioning, absorption and savoring.
The placement of these planets in your houses and aspects with other planets, centaurs and more grant even more suggestions for you to be cognitively prepared for what circumstances and inciting incidents life has in mind. Before diving in, take time to sample the water. For instance, if the chlorine in the pool is fresh, you’re not timid or weak if you decide to wear goggles during your swim. You’re simply preventing eye irritation so that once refreshed from your swim, you see clearly and your focus can be trusted.
